How to Make Satay Sauce?

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons peanut butter,

1 small pink onion,

1 teaspoon ginger,

A pinch of salt,

1 teaspoon sweet and sour sauce,

1 tablespoon of maple syrup,

2 tablespoon soy sauce,

200 ml. oat cream

Method:

  1. Peel the onions and slice them.  Cook until caramelized.
  2. Then place it to the blender. Add all other ingredients. Mix at high speed until you get a smooth consistency.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pot and cook until boiling. Optionally hot or cold can be served. This sauce is a great match for omph, seitan, vegan döner köfte, falafel, tofu-like foods.
