Pickled Red Onion


2 medium red onions,
1 dl coconut sugar,
1/2 dl vinegar,
1dl water.


  1. Slice onions very thin preferbly on a mandoline.
  2. Bring sugar, water and vinegar to boil.
  3. Place onions in a preserves jar.
  4. Pour the liquid over and put lid on.
  5. Let it cool and keep in the fridge at least 2 days before using.
