Spicy Ketchup


500 ml organic tomatoes, peeled,

30 ml. apple cider vinegar,

50 gr. coconut sugar,

2 garlic cloves, chopped,

1/2 small onion chopped (35 gr.)

1 tablespoon olive oil,

1 tablespoon tomato paste,

1/8 teaspoon red hot pepper,

1/4 teaspoon paprika,

1/4 teaspoon ground mustard,

1 teaspoon salt,

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon


1.Heat up a a small pan, add olive oil, onion and garlic. Cook over medium-low heat until soft.

2. Add spices and stir well. Continue to add, tomatoes, sugar and tomato paste. Cook on medium-low heat for about 35-40 minutes or until thicken.

3. Transfer mixture into the food processor. Mix on high speed until completely smooth.

4. Chill the ketchup for a couple of hours.
