Sous vide technique allows to cook at low temperature of water so there is less risk of overcooking our fruits & vegetables in the raw food world. Furthermore, sealing your plants before cooking in water helps retain natural plant sugars that would otherwise be diluted in a large volume of cooking water. That means brighter color and fuller flavor, every time. Try our very festive sous vide celeriac soup!
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
2 medium celery root, peeled cut into chunks
1 large carrot
1 red apple
Juice of whole lemon
2 onions
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp salt
2 cups water
Toppings:
Sprouted pea, nasturtium leaves, cubed sous vide apple pieces, spring onions chopped

Yosa was founded over 20 years of ago by an entrepreneurial and innovative Finnish woman called Merja Scharlin. Merja created the fermented oat product category from nordic oats in Finland already in the 1990âs.
And now Yosa Oat Blocks or as they are called in Sweden Yosa Havrebit is available in stores like Hemköp, Coop and Willys.
Nordic oats are known to be of highest quality due to unique climate and growing conditions that canât be replicated anywhere else. The growing season in the Nordics above the 60th hemisphere is very short but intense. Oats are planted during May and harvested during August and September. The vast amount of light, the midnight sun, makes Nordic growing conditions truly exceptional. During the winter, the soil is frozen and that is one of the reasons why the Nordic soil is pure, and the nature is clean.
A plant-based diet is proven to have a positive impact on the future of our planet, as it helps reduce, for instance, greenhouse gas emissions and water used in production. In addition to supporting the development of the plant-based category, Fazer wants to actively develop sustainable farming. The Fazer Sustainable Grain Farming Principles are developed together with farmers to reduce chemical use in farming while maintaining good productivity. The principles consist of ten measures that aim to keep nutrients in the fields â where they can be used by crops â and out of water systems. The objective is to reduce eutrophication, protect biodiversity and minimize the use of chemicals.

To make test of the product I cooked without herbs and sauce.
The result was excellent. It does not give the heavy taste of soy tofu. Quite light and tasty, I just wanted to eat more.
I hope there will be improvements in this area in other countries around the world. It is an excellent alternative to soy allergy sufferers.
What is Candida?
Candida is a type of yeast bacteria and is found in all living things. This type of fungus, which is generally involved in the lymphatic system, becomes dangerous when it multiplies more than necessary due to external factors. In short, Candida is an infection that arises from an overgrowth of yeast in the gut.
Easy Candida Test at Home
So what about the flora of your intestines? If you are wondering, do this test when you wake up in the morning.
With a simple test, we can understand the increase of candida yeast in your gut.
Spit on an empty stomach in a glass of drinking water in the morning and watch for 15 minutes. If saliva stays above water, you have healthy intestinal flora. If the saliva collapses to the bottom, if it goes down like a fringe, if it feels like it is snowing, or if it is clouded like rakı in the water, Candida has spoiled your intestinal flora. Let everyone in the house do the test . If your stomach is swollen and painful even if you eat a piece, you cannot relieve the swelling and hardness of your abdomen despite all the diets you have done, you often have constipation problems despite consuming fiber foods, if you cannot find a cure for your eating crises, the reason is probably the candida yeast.
When yeast transforms into fungal form, it produces two very toxic substances called ethanol and acetaldehyde. These two dangerous toxins negatively impact the functionality of our cells. Candida produces toxic substances that contaminate the tissues and weaken the immune system, lungs, kidneys, gallbladder, liver and brain.
Candida is typically not life-threatening, but if left untreated, it can spread and eventually reach the bloodstream.
The most common signs of infection:
Common candida yeast infection reasons:
Itâs important to realise that the basic most fundamental truth regarding the vast majority of health conditions is that there is no such thing as a single cause.
One Week Anti Candida Diet
You can follow an anti candida vegan diet minimum one week, then repeat the saliva test and observe the symptoms on your body.
It is stated that an average of 3 weeks was continued for a complete cleaning.
In the first week, it is aimed to remove the foods that support the formation of Candida yeasts. First, the consumption of sugar, white flour, yeast and alcohol is prohibited. At the same time, restrictions are placed on the consumption of processed foods. It is argued that the fruit turns into sugar in the body and its consumption is restricted in the first week. In the first phase, the majority of the diet consists of vegetables and quality protein sources. Potatoes, peas, carrots and sweet potatoes with high starch content should not be preferred.
When everything returns to normal, some foods (such as peas, carrots, peanuts) that were previously prohibited can be added to the diet. However, since consumption of these foods may cause an increase in Candida again, so these foods should be added to the diet plan gradually. For example , consumtion of peas can be limited with 30 g per day.
This type of diet can be continued until the symptoms are ended. However, there is no fixed time period when it comes to eating your normal diet again. And remember, normal is never going to be filled with dairy, wheat, alcohol and sugary treats!
What to eat on an anti candida diet?
Vegetable varieties; Artichoke, summer squash, asparagus, broccoli, spinach, tomato, eggplant, cucumber, celery, onion, cabbage, zucchini, eggplant, garlic, brussels sprouts, spinach, Swiss chard, kale can be consumed.
And all green leafy vegetables are good on anti candida diet.
Healthy oils; Coconut oil, flax oil, avocado oil, olive oil, almond, walnut and hazelnut can be consumed.
Fruits; Avocados, lemons and lime can be consumed as fruit in the early stages. Lime, sour tangerine, pomegranates and green apple also can be used on a empty stomach, but limited amounts.
In the cereal group; Chia seeds, flax seeds, buckwheat, oat bran, quinoa can be consumed.
Nut group; almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, poppy seeds, pecans
From herbal and spice varieties; Basil, dill, ginger, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, rosemary, thyme and cloves can be consumed.
It is allowed to consume stevia as a source of sugar.
What are best candida fighting Foods?
Garlic: Garlic contains an antifungal substance called allicin that has been shown to be effective against Candida yeasts.
Coconut oil: Coconut oil is high in lauric acid, which has been shown to fight Candida infections.
Curcumin: Test-tube studies show that curcumin can kill Candida yeasts or at least reduce their growth.
Pomegranate: A test-tube study showed that the plant compounds in pomegranate are beneficial against Candida yeasts.
Choose organic as much as possible. Do your best at purchasing these foods organic or at a local farmerâs market. Unsure of whatâs being applied to the produce, just ask the farmer.
It is also important to be mindful while eating. Because digestion begins in our mouth. Donât be engaged in other activities while eating and just focus on chewing every second.
What to avoid on anti candida diet?
All fermented foods such as nama shoyu, kimchi or sauerkraut
Straches such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, peas, parsnips, carrot ( if you consume carrots raw, it is ok. If you cook carrots it raises the glycemic index to double that of a raw carrot. )
All cooked legumes ( expect sprouted ones)
Vinegar & All yeasts including nutritional yeast
Alcohol ( any bevereges containing alcohol.) , coffee, green and black tea, chocolate
All gluten grains; wheat, spelt, rye, kamut, farro, barley
All kind of condiments such as ketchup, pickles, bbq, mustard
Peanuts, cashews and pistachios
All syrups and artificial sweeteners, except stevia and xylitol.
Fruits â all sweet fruits and berries, including dried, fresh and canned + fruit juices.
Some people might tolerate potatoes, peas, lentils and winter squashes in small amounts, but itâd be better to avoid those foods for at least 2 weeks because people tend to overeat them compensating all the sugary foods that have been cut out. If you consume raw, it is ok during this period. Because baking and boiling increase glycemic load and this is not good for candida.
Medical Medium Perspective to Fruits on Candida Diet
Although many sources say to avoid sweet fruits in the Candida diet, Medical Medium says that the sugar from the fruit does not feed the candida candida is the messenger of on underlaying issue (e.g. pathogens) and never the problem itself. So thatâs a total myth. When the underlaying issue is addressed successfully, candida disappears. A low fat whole food diet rich in fresh fruits and veggies is a strong weapon supporting our central detox organ, the liver, the best way posible.
Below you can see the episode taken from Anthony’s site.
“If you have been diagnosed with Candida, odds are you have been advised to cut all processed foods from your diet, avoid sugar like the plague (including fruit), and to consume a high-protein, high-fat diet. While it is indeed critical to avoid sugar-laden and processed foods such as doughnuts, cakes, cookies, candy, popcorn, pastries, croissants, scones, and bagels, strictly avoiding fruit is unwarranted. Candida does not feed on sugar unless it is from a grain such as corn or wheat, and it does not feed on natural fruit sugar.
Importantly, the natural fructose in fruit is bonded with beneficial compounds, including antioxidants, minerals, phytochemicals, and even cancer-killing micronutrients that help kill pathogens such as strep, E. coli, C. diff, staph, and viruses that are likely responsible for your increased Candida (again, increased Candida levels are actually a defense mechanism designed to prevent these pathogens from proliferating). Thus, fruit is your anti-Candida secret weapon because it is your âbroad-spectrumâ anti-pathogen secret weapon!
If youâre still fearful of fruit, bear in mind that the sugars from fruit leave your stomach in about three to six minutes, and the sugar doesnât reach the intestinal tract. What does reach the intestinal tract is the skin, pulp, and fiber in fruit, which actually helps to clear the intestines of things like SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and other pathogen-related conditions. Apart from fruit, other forms of sugarâcane sugar, beet sugar, agave nectar, corn syrup, etc.âdo feed Candida and other pathogens, so you should indeed avoid these things.”
